At Motukarara we offer a range of excellent locations for all on-course hospitality needs. Be it a  corporate event, social club gathering or get-together with friends or family, there’s an on-course venue for you to enjoy a great social occasion at the races.

The Mot Hill adjacent to the birdcage offers one of the best race viewing locations, right where the action is. Marquees can be erected on this site to accommodate up to 200 seated guests.

The Big Tree Enclosure next to the parade ring gives you a close up look at the horses before they go onto the track. Set up under the shade of the “big tree”, where there’s room for marquees/tents to cater up around 150 guests, actual number depending on amount of seating needed. This site has its own totalisator betting window for the convenience of your guests.

Within the General Admission Area we offer Gazebo Sites (6m x 5m) right on the race track fence as close as you can get to the racing action. Set up your gazebo and picnic/BBQ in your designated area with plenty of room for 10-15 people.

Due to regulations, all alcohol consumed on the Embankment in front of the main grandstand, in the Big Tree Enclosure and anywhere within the main enclosure must be sourced from Country Feasts, who offer competitive pricing on all drink options.
